Foreign training under Pak Canada Debt Swap Project - Service agreement signed with AIT Bangkok for customized training of Master Trainers. For the first time ever NTS test was organized to ensure transparency & merit in selection procedure. Conducted approximately 200 interviews for scrutiny of credential of candidates. A group of 100 teachers selected for this training.
Conducted training of Master Trainers in Psycho-Social Rehabilitation of Children and established ECE Rooms in Lab Schools attached with GCETs, CTSCs and Flood Affected Schools in Flood Hit Areas of Punjab in collaboration with UNESCO.
Master Trainers training of Science Teachers on SCIB methodology with cooperation of JICA, and development of future project for training of additional Master Trainers on SCIB plus development of future project for increasing awareness /interest of primary students in science.
Initiated 3-stage training evaluation of QAED including Impact Assessment study with collaboration of UNICEF.
Arranged funding from UNICEF for holding of workshops on item development for assessment by DTEs. Developed concept note for provision of Report Cards for Assessment of students at primary level in collaboration with UNICEF.
Negotiated and signed MOU with Sight Savers for development of Resource Centre for Inclusive Education at Quaid-e-Azam Academy for Educational Development (QAED), and in the field.
A number of programs/activities are in process with ITA, British Council, Plan Pakistan, Agha Khan University, Save the Children, SAHE and Intel Corporation.
Planning & Coordination with various National and International Donor/Partner Organizations (UNICEF, UNESCO, GTZ, CIDA, World Bank, Intel Corporation, CPBEP, JICA ) for provision of technical and financial assistance for improving quality and delivery of teacher training.
