SCHOOL LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT TRAINING PROGRAM

Piloting at DTSC/GCETs Lahore, Islamabad, Multan, Bahawalpur & Faisalabad

Aimed at:

                To enable Heads to perform efficiently & effectively for promoting quality Education in Punjab.

              Pilot activity is on at 05 Centers (DTSC/GCETs Lahore, Islamabad, Multan, Bahawalpur & Faisalabad) from April 08-09, 2017.

Scheme of Studies (over 03 years)

                                   Training will be carried out in 03 phases; each phase will be linked with certification/validation

a) - Phase I (Basic/Fundamental and Emerging Leadership)

                           Duration:   i)-08 Days split programme over 04 months (02 Days a month during Saturdays & Sundays) about 40-48 classrooms hours with assignments to practice on learning areas of classroom work in their schools.

                           Duration:   ii)-20 Days Training on emerging trends in education (100-120 hrs).

                        Scheme of Studies:    Roles & Responsibilities, financial management, vision, mission, leadership styles, creatively and imagination.

b) - Phase II (Intermediate Level / Mid Level Management)

                             Duration:    08 Days split programme over 04 months (02 Days a month during Saturdays & Sundays) about 40-48 classrooms hours with assignments to practice on learning areas of classroom work in their schools.

                             Scheme of Studies:    To be finalized.

c) - Phase III (Advance Level Management Programme)

                             Duration:    08 Days split programme over 04 months (02 Days a month during Saturdays & Sundays) about 40-48 classrooms hours with assignments to practice on learning areas of classroom work in their schools.
